Dr. Tom Redding
Dr. Redding is from Asheboro, NC and has owned Tri-County Veterinary Service since 1987. He earned his degree from Brown University in Rhode Island and then went on to study at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is devoted to his work and has helped countless animals.
When not working, Dr. Redding can be found tending to the animals on his family farm as well as fishing, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Margaret Alexander
Dr. Alexander earned her degree at North Carolina State University in Animal Science and went to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. She has experience working as an attending veterinarian at Duke University Vivarium and Primate Center and has studied animal chiropractic at Parker University. She came to Tri-County in 1990 and has been with us ever since.
Dr. Alexander spends her free time racing sailboats and spending time with her husband, 4-legged children, and chickens.
Dr. Terra Wells
Dr. Terra Wells started at Tri-County as a veterinary technician in 2005 while at the same time attending school at NCSU. She received her BS in animal science from NCSU and then went on to study at the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State. After her graduation, we welcomed her back to Tri-County with open arms to practice as a doctor.
Dr. Wells lives in rural Chatham County with her husband and daughters, surrounded by the many pets she has rescued over the years.
Dr. Melody Davis
Dr. Melody Davis attended North Carolina State University for an undergraduate study in Biology and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from NC State. Dr. Davis has also studied animal chiropractic at Parker University. She has previous experience working as an associate veterinarian at a large animal practice in Eastern NC.
In her spare time, Dr. Davis enjoys riding her horse, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and pets.
Dr. Derek Heizer
Dr. Derek Heizer joined our clinic in June 2016. He received his BS in
dairy science from Virginia Tech and then went on to receive his Doctor
of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary
Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Dr. Heizer lives in rural Alamance County with his wife and two dogs. He enjoys working with and showing his Holstein and Brown Swiss cattle.
